Renewing the Auld Alliiance

I spent yesterday morning on a coach in the company of 45, 14 year old French students and their teachers.

I have commented in previous entries hw mature and well behaved young people from continental Europe are. They were a delight to be with and because they have only been studying English for 2 years, I had to rely on one of the teachers, Jean Pierre, to translate. I had thought that perhaps a French speaking guide might have been more appropriate but, since they are here to learn English, I think there is merit in having bi-lingual commentary. I enjoyed being with them so much I will spend my day off today accompanying them to ST Andrews for a tour at no charge to them. I really love what I do….. Au revoir mes amis, Bill.
