Where do we begin? … the kilts, the songs, the poetry, the magnificence of you. Our trip to Scotland has been a wonderful adventure due to your talent, intellect, military driving skills and all around awesome guiding abilities. We wish you could be with us for the rest of our journey, but alas, you are called to duty elsewhere.
As Robert Burns wrote,
“We twa hae paidl’d in the burn,
Frae morning sun till dine;
Nut seas between us braid hae roar’d
Sin’ auld lang syne.”
I hope this mean something like, “until we meet again, may you enjoy health, happiness and good fortune.”
Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge, good humour and superb singing and guiding talents with us. You have made our time in Scotland a very special one.
