That was the Week that Was

This is Cringletie House between Eddleston and Peebles in the Beautiful Scottish Borders. I had the privelege to spend a week there in the company of my dear friends, Tony and Jessica for the celebration of their marriage.

The company was great and I was welcomed as a member of the family. There were a number of young people in their teens and twenties and I was in my element with them, being very much a kid at heart.

As for the hotel, it is without doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in, the food was amazing, the bar well stocked, my room was comfort itself, but by far the best feature of the whole stay was the General Manager Vivienne and her astounding staff team, They could not have been friendlier or more helpful and everyone worked to complement each other. It was a fantastic experience and one I’d recommend wholeheartedly. My circle of friends has been expanded and enriched during that wonderful week.
