Rain didn’t stop play

Well The rain didn’t turn up to mar what was a wonderful show. Highlights were the pipes and drums (as ever), the Swiss Drum Corps and my big mate Cammie reciting Tam o’ Shanter for the Scottish and Canadian dancers in their interpretation of this famous poem.

Earlier, I took the lovely group from Luton for a panoramic tour of the city and bid them a very fond farewell. Today is a day off to attend to family and domestic affairs and tomorrow, a day tour with Dutch people, which I’m looking forward to. Always great company the Dutch with a sense of humour very similar to the Scots.
